Summary
This application takes an abdominal CT scan as input, locates the cross-section in the middle of the third lumbar vertebra (L3) and measures the area of subcutaneous (SAT), visceral (VAT), and intermuscular (IMAT) adipose tissue and smooth muscle (SM). The average Hounsfield Units (HU) of each area are also computed.
