Model Facts

Summary

The algorithm receives both frontal and lateral radiographs and automatically measures total lung volume.

Input

The input should be a frontal and lateral chest radiograph. The following file formats are supported: .mha, .mhd, .png, .dcm, .jpeg. The algorithm has not been trained with anterior-posterior images (bed-side images).

Output

The algorithm outputs the total lung volume in liter as float value.

Notes

Please upload a single chest X-ray per field (one frontal and one lateral). Uploading multiple files per field will result in error.

Publication

This algorithm is published in Medical Physics, check out the open-access paper.
