Pretrained weights?

I was wondering if it is allowed to use pretrained weights for model optimization. I have read in the rules this:

5.2 To ensure a fair comparison, Participants are not allowed to use any additional data or pre-trained models.

But I was wondering, if there are commonly and publicly available weights on the internet, for example Imagenet-pretrained weights, are we still not allowed to use them? This might lead to better results, and it's hard to see how using these would result in unfair competing conditions...

Hi, just to clarify, using pre-trained models is allowed only if open-sourced. We updated the T&Cs remarking this.
