Paper submission deadline approaching!

Dear participants,

the paper submission deadline on April 6th, 2024, is approaching! You can win a 500 € cash prize for your 4-page paper.

We wanted to highlight that final test results do not need to be included in the paper. Instead, cross-validation results are encouraged. We will inform reviewers that papers shall be evaluated by the merit of their scientific work (e.g. methodology, previous results).

Dear challenge organizer,

I see on the ISBI author instruction page that it is possible to submit a 5-page paper provided that the fifth page contains only non-technical content such as references and acknowledgement.

I am wondering if you could comment on whether there is any preference or concern from the organizer's perspective on having a fifth page.

from our side, it is no problem to submit a 5-page paper in line with the ISBI guidelines (no technical content, just references and acknowledgment)!

Be aware however that IEEE, in accordance with their standard procedures for regular papers, will likely apply an additional page fee of $200 for 5-page papers.
