Accessing channel name of images in the evaluation phase

Accessing channel name of images in the evaluation phase

Hi there,

Is there a way to know the channel name (nucleus or membrane) from a test image (e.g., .tif file)? Does the channel name include in the image filenames (e.g., "angle_stack0_t061_lc_nucleus.tiff") or in the metadata?

Note that from the training data, some .tif images do not have the key "channel" in their metadata.

Thanks,

Hello,

We manage to write in the train DB the organelle names (nucleus, membrane) in the filenames. In addition, I've tried to write them also in the metadata but only some angle images have not them.

For the test and evaluation phases, all the filenames will be rewritten by Grand Challenge then you can access the organelle information on the metadata.

According to the forum section you cited here, I provided a general reader that is included since in the docker template.
