Dear Participants,

As the deadline for early workshop acceptance has now passed, we are pleased to see the dedication reflected in the numerous submissions to our new tasks. We are currently in the process of ranking the validation leaderboard entries received so far. If you would like to be considered for early acceptance, please submit a 4-8 page paper (using the LNCS template) detailing your method by August 1, 2024, 11:59 PM AOE. You can upload your paper along your submission as a supplementary file or contact us at learn2reg@gmail.com.

Early workshop acceptance will be offered to participants who submit a method description and rank among the top 10 in the validation ranking or have an accepted paper at WBIR, providing an opportunity to present a poster at the workshop.

Please note that the GrandChallenge leaderboards rank submissions based on a single selected metric, which may differ from our internal ranking criteria*. Non-unique entries will not be considered. We will soon publish the validation ranking and contact the teams that have earned early acceptance.

We wish all participants the best of luck and would like to remind you that the validation ranking does not affect the final ranking on the test data. We appreciate your efforts and look forward to your contributions.

Warm regards,
Wiebke and the Learn2Reg Team

*We rank methods using statistically significantly different results. For each metric applied in a task, methods are compared against each other (Wilcoxon signed rank test with p<0.05, see details in our GitHub), ranked based on the number of ”won” comparisons and finally mapped to a numerical metric rank score between 0.1 and 1 (with possible score sharing). A task rank score is then obtained as the geometric mean of individual metric rank scores.
