Questions about Different Scanning Profiles

Hi,

How are the CPG and Diagnositc profiles obtained, i.e. Are they obtained from the scanning the original tissue section by using different scanners and different settings or maybe by using stain normalisation? Also what are the purposes of having CPG profile and Diagnostic profile? \

The CPG (research) scan profile is quite raw, and the colors have not been adjusted. For the diagnostic profile, some parameters are adjusted to make it look more like the microscopic view.
