Potential Annotation Issue in File: training_set_metastatic_roi_103

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a potential issue with the annotations in one of the files from the training set.

While reviewing the data for cell annotations, I noticed that the file named training_set_metastatic_roi_103 appears to have annotations that do not correspond correctly to the cells. Specifically, the annotated regions seem to be misaligned the actual cells.

Could you please verify this file to ensure that the annotations are accurate?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Upon reviewing your observation, we have confirmed that the annotations in the file "training_set_metastatic_roi_103" were indeed misaligned. We sincerely apologize for this oversight and any inconvenience it may have caused.

As a result, we have chosen to remove the sample from the training dataset. The dataset has been updated on Zenodo and the description of the dataset has been adjusted accordingly.

We are very thankful to you and your team for bringing this issue to our attention. We have also revalidated all other samples in the dataset to ensure there are no further inconsistencies and to prevent this from happening again.
