Dear SynthRAD2023 participants,

Thank you very much for submitting your algorithm to our challenge. We are excited to share that, in total, we received 40 submissions: 23 for task 1 and 17 for task 2.

Dose evaluation We have already run the submission offline for the photon and proton dose evaluation, and we aim to update the leaderboard in the upcoming week—please keep the forum post checked for the related announcement.

Leaderboard & exclusion While updating the leaderboard, we may exclude the submission with too low performance, keeping the submission by the organizers (submission with body contour assigned to water, or 0 HU) as a threshold. If a team or participant is excluded, they will receive a separate mail.

Final winner announcement As you may have read in the Challenge rule, our ranking method cannot be calculated on the Grand Challenge platform, so we will let you know the final ranking by September 20.

Methods details We are collecting and comparing the details of your submissions to finalize the challenge paper as soon as possible and present an overview at MICCAI. If you haven't mailed the organizers after having submitted your algorithm to the test phase, please contact us as soon as possible. If we cannot reach out to you by September 20, you may be excluded from the competition.
