Project AIR - DEMO - Lung nodule detection X-ray

Welcome to Project AIR: a set of validation studies of regulatory cleared AI software for radiology.

For different AI tasks, commercially available algorithms (CE marked and/or FDA cleared) are validated on a multicenter dataset. Performance is compared to radiologists and radiology residents through reader studies.

This is a simplified reader study aimed for demonstration and practice. Readers are asked to go through a set of images in a dedicated workstation and answer certain questions about the case. In this simplified demo, chest X-rays are shown and the reader is asked to determine whether a nodule is present or not.
