Test set submission and extended submission deadline - 26th of August ¶
By: phiewe on Aug. 11, 2022, 9:42 a.m.
Dear challenge participants,
Please excuse the wait for further details on how to submit registered test set landmarks. You can submit registered test set landmarks starting later today or tomorow here: https://acrobat.grand-challenge.org/evaluation/challenge-test/submissions/create/
Submissions follow the same format as validation set submissions. We will select the last test set submission before the submission deadline as the final submission for each team.
To be ranked in the test set leaderboard, it is required that there is at least a short openly accessible description of your algorithm. A short 1-2 page description on a preprint server such as arxiv.org or even Github if accompanied by code will suffice. If there is already a publication on your algorithm, linking this publication will of course be sufficient.
Please remember that if you publish code alongside your submission, you will be eligible for further prizes. We would be excited if the ACROBAT challenge can broaden the range of open source WSI registration solutions.
Since it looks like the number of submissions will be around 10, we would like to invite everyone who participated in the challenge and submits test set solutions to present their algorithm at the challenge workshop and contribute to the publication of the challenge findings in a scientific journal, rather than limiting this to the top 10 contributions. Please note that participation in the workshop requires registration to MICCAI (in-person or virtual attendance) and we unfortunately have no means to waver registration fees for presenters. The early-bird registration deadline ends today on the 11th of August, so it makes sense to register today if you plan to attend! Attendance of the workshop is not required to be ranked in the test set leaderboard or to contribute to the publication, but of course highly encouraged to discuss the current state of the art in WSI registration.
We would also like to announce that we will extend the submission deadline for test set landmarks until the 26th of August, which is also the deadline to provide a description of your algorithm and optionally a link to the code for your algorithm.
So in summary, please submit the following until the 26th of August: 1. Registered landmarks through the test set submission site. 2. A link to the description of your algorithm. Please comment this link into this announcement thread. 3. Optionally a link to a GitHub or comparable open repository that contains your algorithm code. Please comment this link alongside the link to your algorithm description into this thread. 4. If possible, include in your response in this thread if you or someone from your team can attend the workshop to present your algorithm.
Best wishes and looking forward to your submissions and the workshop! Philippe Weitz, Masi Valkonen, Leslie Solorzano
