Study Dates

Study Dates

Hi,

Thanks for the dataset. I had a quick question - have the study dates been anonymized, or are the dates provided in the filename (and csv) the exact dates of the study? I am asking because I would like to know if the "negative" diagnosis for some patients indicate resolution, i.e., no residual cancer post-treatment. For example:

FDG patient ID - 1a90052cb2

Study date 1 - 22-06-2001 Diagnosis 1 - MELANOMA

Study date 2 - 06-09-2003 Diagnosis 2 - NEGATIVE

Hi,

Thanks for the question. "No the dates are also all randomized with random offsets".

Best Jakob

I see, thanks for the response. I am interested in tracking the interval changes over time for the patients in your dataset since it is probably the only public dataset that has multiple visits for a patient (including the negative controls). May I ask if it would be possible to indicate the order of the study without losing the anonymity? For example, a new column in the metadata csv file containing a number (1, 2, 3,...) indicating the order of the study relative to its date (still preserved anonymously of course).
