Dimension of Data

What are dimensions of one data sample (HxWxDxC as in 4 dim)? I have retrieved it through nibabel in python as: 400 x 400 x 304 x 1. Is it correct? I am confused about the color channel. All the data samples are grayscale (one channel).?

The dimension of the data are: Width x Height x Slices CT data is given in Hounsfield units and PET data in SUVs. Images are each hence single-channel.
