cannot view some nifti files

While running a desktop, I am not able to access the sample_harmonized.nii.gz file available in the provided prostate dataset using itksnap. I get an error about the directional cosines not being ortho-normal. I had the same error when opening nifti files in my PC. I downgraded itksnap to version 3 and it worked. Is there something we can do to see the nifti files in the desktop?

Hi, We tried opening a random nifti file with itkSnap on a platform desktop and we were able to open it. If you tell us which one have you tested, we will try to reproduce the error to make it more concrete.
