Transversal vs Sagittal series

Transversal vs Sagittal series

Hello!

In the rectum dataset, there are two series per study; according to the description, "transversal and sagittal T2w series have been selected". I was wondering you could add the information on which series is transversal and which sagittal to the index.json file? Below a screenshot, if you could just add a tag to each entry with the orientation that would be really helpful. I guess it can be extracted in some way, but I looked into the metadata and found no clue. Thanks!

Hello, we are not going to add that information to the index.json. That is information that you can extract yourselves from the DICOM header, this can be done by using the example script that is in the "~/application-examples/" directory (in the home directory).

Right thanks. I looked into the nifti header of the harmonized image, but it was not there, I didn't think of looking in the dicom. Thanks anyway for answering.
