Method description preprint deadline and general update!

Method description preprint deadline and general update!

  By: simongraham73 on Feb. 23, 2022, 5:46 p.m.

To remind you, your 2 page method description is due on the 28th Feb! This needs to be sent to:

conic2022@gmail.com

You will also need to upload your paper to arxiv and provide a link when making your final submission. Any final submission without this link will be void! Upload to ArXiv can take a couple of days to process, so I recommend that you start to think about this soon! Take a look at the MIDOG challenge final leaderboard - you can see that each submission has an associated preprint linked.

Your method description should be 2 pages and be in double column IEEE format. Remember, we will be inviting participants to submit an extended 4 page paper that will may be published as part of the IEEE ISBI proceedings (subject to a successful review). For more info on this, take a look at this page.

It's great to see so many submissions on the leaderboard - we are looking forward to opening up submission to the final test set soon. Remember you will only get to upload one successful submission to the final phases. For this, you need to select one of your algorithms that you used in the preliminary phase.

In the post challenge publication, we will be doing an analysis on the performance of your model with input transformations. To gain extra kudos, have a think on this :)

Good luck!

Hey Simon,

did you already send out the notifications / invitations for the 4 page technical papers?
