Requirements for submission

Hi,

the instructions for creating an Algorithm (docker image) for the CoNIC challenge say

"Assuming you have a verified Grand-Challenge account and have already registered for the CoNIC challenge, you need to do two main steps to submit your algorithm to the challenge."

I don't have a verified account, since – as far as I'm aware – it was never communicated that this is required to participate in the challenge. A clarification on this would be appreciated.

We clearly said that the 12th Feb was the deadline for registration and team formation. However, we did not say that this was a requirement for submission. Therefore, we are willing to extend the registration until the 15th Feb. Please now register and form your team and you will be considered.

Note, now that we have made this completely clear, you must register and form your team before the registration deadline otherwise you will not be considered.

I did already register and form a team with someone else, that's not what I meant. I'm asking specifically asking about user verification, which can be requested at https://grand-challenge.org/verifications/create/, and – as far as I understand – is done by a human and might take a while.

I just saw the Submission for preliminary test phase is now open! post, does that I mean that I should be able to see a Add a new algorithm button at https://grand-challenge.org/algorithms/ (as shown here)? Because I do not see this button.

I have passed the verification but still could see no Add a new algorithm buttom at https://grand-challenge.org/algorithms/.

Is there anything else I need to do to get that bottom?

Thanks both for pointing this out - we are looking into it right away

Now, all CoNIC participants will be able to see the 'add algorithm' option on the Algorithms page. However, when you click it, you will not be able to actually add your algorithm unless your account has been verified!

If you are having a problem with verification, then I recommend sending an email to support@grand-challenge.org
