Tool labels are shown in the image? ¶

Dear organizer,

Hi. I checked images in the training dataset and also mp4 file at submission github repo, and I realized that the tool labels are "written" at the left-bottom and right-bottom of the image.

Are these visual information also shown in the test videos? If so, the task can also be thought as text recognition...

Hi ryo-hachiuma,

The UI will be blurred from the test set, so the information within the UI cannot be used to make predictions. We have also uploaded an example image with blurred UI at https://surgtoolloc.grand-challenge.org/data/.
