What should be the content of the short paper?

Can you please elaborate on what should be the content of the short paper?

More specifically, request you to kindly clarify the following points: (1) Should the paper contain just the details of the method/pipeline used?, or Should it also include the quantitative metrics computed on the validation set? (2) Will we be able to know the quantitative results on the testing data before submitting the paper?, and if so, should those results be also included in the short paper? (3) Can we make any further modifications to our algorithm/parameters that we use for evaluations on the testing data? or should we use the same algorithm/parameters that we have used earlier on the validation set?

(4) How many papers will be selected for the presentation in the MICCAI challenge? What is the criteria for selection to the challenge? Will it be based on only testing results? or testing+paper? or testing+validation+paper?

Sorry for the delay. For your questions, (1) Yes, the short paper should contains the method details and the validation results. (2) The paper submission is earlier than the publication of testing results, so you don't need to add the results on test set. (3) We suggest the same algorithm for both validation and testing set. However, you can add some new tricks based on the method in the validation set as long as you mention it in the short paper.
