Dear Organizers,

I am curious about which ones from the dataset are healthy controls. Can we provide that information in the clinical_information.xlsx file?

At this point, the PANORAMA challenge addressed the clinical question of PDAC vs. non-PDAC cases, where non-PDAC cases can include patients with an unremarkable ("healthy") pancreas and patients with other non-PDAC pancreatic lesions. This clinical question was established in conjunction with our Scientific Advisory Board to ensure the best clinical relevance and reference standard. As described in our study protocol, for the 1000 cases in the testing set, all PDAC cases have histopathology confirmation, and all non-PDAC cases have histopathology or follow-up confirmation.

In future iterations of the PANORAMA challenge, we aim to achieve a strong reference standard for the differential diagnosis in the negative (non-PDAC cases) and provide this information to participants.
