Segmentation masks order

Is there any order to the segmentation labels assigned to each bone fragment? For example, the largest component is given label 1, the second largest component label 2, and so forth; or may be given by anatomical position: going from medial to lateral...

Thank you for your question. In Task 1, the largest fragment is consistently labeled as 1, 11, or 21. The remaining fragments do not follow a specific order. In Task 2, the largest fragment may not always appear in the projection. And some labels can be absent or discontinuous. However, the order of the labels does not influence the evaluation process, as it includes a matching procedure between the predicted labels with the ground truths.
