Final phase delay - Compute instance unavailable

Dear finalists,

Thank you again for your efforts on producing your Final Phase submissions! For all teams that made a second submission to the Final Phase (teams uaux2, Code 1055, and hal9000), the Docker containers have been built successfully.

Unfortunately, we are facing a cloud compute instance availability issue again, so training has not started yet. We will start training as soon as the requested instance becomes available.

You can still make/update your second submission to the Final phase until we start training. Note that your second Final phase submission may not contain any additions to or deletions from your original submission to the Final phase, other than fixes of issues that prevented your training and/or inference container from running and completing successfully. Other updates to your methods are not allowed.

Dear finalists,

We have not yet obtained a compute instance. Due to summer vacations, we will stop querying for the instance now and restart querying for it on September 5th.
