Publication Embargo

We have a couple of questions regarding the challenge paper publication:

1. Is there a limit to the number of authors for the final challenge publication, or can the team consist of any number of members?

2. Could you provide an estimation of the publication embargo period? The rules mention that publishing is not allowed until the completion of the embargo period for both the LEOPARD challenge journal paper and the publication of the LEOPARD challenge baseline journal paper.

3. Does the embargo period rule still apply for publishing work that uses only the training dataset and splits it into training and validation subsets?

• Is there a limit to the number of authors for the final challenge publication, or can the team consist of any number of members?

We set the limit of up to 5 co-authors per team.

• Could you please give an estimation to the publication embargo period as it is mentioned in the rules that we can not publish until the completion of the embargo period for both the LEOPARD challenge journal paper and the publication of the LEOPARD challenge baseline journal paper .

The embargo period will end 6 months after the challenge workshop at MICCAI 2024.

• Does the embargo period rule still apply for publishing work that uses only the training dataset and splits it into training and validation subsets?

The publishing embargo period covers ALL data released within this challenge.
