Mask provided in the final test

Mask provided in the final test

Hi, I am wondering if there are two masks provided for the final test submission, one for L1 and one for L2?

The reason we are asking is that, to save time for the whole WSI processing, we are thinking of only performing lymphocyte detection in the identified tumor bulk generated from the segmentation results. In such case if the identified tumor bulk does not overlap with some of the ROIs used for L1 assessment, then the cell detection score would become very bad since all the lymphocytes are missed.

Thanks!

Dear Shuoyu,

In the final leaderboard you can expect similar masks as for the experimental leaderboards. So for L1 final, you again get rois-masks and for L2 final the full tissue masks You can check in which leaderboard your model is, by checking the area of the tissue masks: L2 = ~470mm², L1 masks cover only the ROIs and are therefore <5mm²

I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if anything is still unclear.

Best wishes, Mart
