Closing / deleting your challenge

Closing your challenge¶

To close a challenge either set the submission limit of all phases of your challenge to 0, or set appropriate phase start and end dates for all your phases.

Challenge status badges (visible on challenge overview)

• A challenge is considered as completed only when end dates are set for all phases of the challenge and when these have passed.

• When no dates are set, and all phases are closed because their submission limits are set to 0, the challenge is marked as not accepting submissions.

• If start dates are set and those lie in the future, the challenge is marked as opening submissions for [name of first opening phase] on [submissions start at date].

• In all other cases, the challenge is considered to be accepting submissions
